Well, the kids sports update is as follows. Junior Mr. Morris had a hockey tournament this past weekend and got creamed in 3 of 5 games. The good news is that they look a lot better and the practice seems to be paying off and that they got a shiny cool medal for their efforts, which made it all worth while. Worth mentioning, in game four the goalie had to take a late game pee break and was substituted by Luciano, with nothing but a blocker, glove and stick, no pads. Lu got his first shutout with 5 minutes left in the game, nice job!
Soccer is much the same as it started with senior’s team struggling a bit and junior’s team doing very well. Junior has a few goals to his credit now with one in each of his last two games where it became painfully obvious that he had been watching too much World Cup. Only thing missing was that he kept his shirt on…
Our metal division, Antalex, celebrated our 7th annual BBQ on Friday past with our greatest attendance yet at over 150 people. We’re proud to report that Best Buy has trusted a new initiative to us that we are calling “Gaming”. It is a spectacular addition to an already great store. This further supports our customer commitment to standing behind our product. The laminate issues that were experienced in Cell Shop were addressed and repaired and a lot was learned in the process. We’re happy that our customer stood with us.
We’re also proud to announce that we have recently completed our second Olsen Europe clothing store in Connestoga near Cambridge, Ontario. This is yet another example of high level custom metal and millwork coming together for a beautiful finish. Armando and Andy worked hard on this one with a fantastic result.
